1882 Egypt medal (bars - Tel El Kebir & Suakin 1884) and Khedives Star - 2nd Camerons.

Number and rank on the Egypt medal are illegable due to contact wear. Also has some knock to the front of the medal (see pics). The rest of the naming reads W. M. Kinnon 1/Cam'n. Highrs. A rare medal to a drummer. Khedives star in good condition.

Egypt medal (bar - Tel El Kebir) and 1882 Khedives star - 2nd Coldstream Guards.

Medals are in good condition with no pitting just slight contact to Gds. Egypt medal is named 4054 Pte. W.Smith 2/Cdme. Gds. Khedives star is also named on the back (see pics).

Anglo Boer Oorlog War medal.

This medal was issue to the Boers who fought against the Imperial troops in am attempt to encourage reconciliation. Medal is named to Burger P.J. Erasmus. In good condition, no ribbon.

  • QSA medal (bars - Relief of Kimberley, Paardeberg & Transvaal) named to 2751 Pte. D.Rose. 6/Drgn. Gds.
  • KSA medal (bars - South Africa 1901 & South Africa 1902) named to 2751 Pte. D.W.Rose. 6th Drgn: Gds:

In very good condition individually mounted for wear.

QSA (bar - Natal) & Naval LS&GC medal pair.

  • QSA medal (bar - Natal) named to C. Maxwell, LDG: Seamn: H.M.S. Thetis.
  • Naval LS&GC medal named to 158853 Colin Maxwell PO. H.M. Coastguard.

Naval LS&GC had a couple of edge knocks on the front. QSA in good condition but needs a good clean. Complete with ribbons and some copied roll.

Crimea medal (3 bars) - 1st Royal Regiment (Scots).

Bars are for Alma, Inkermann & Sebastopol. Named to 3265 James Davy 1st Battn 1st Royals. The naming is regimentally impressed and shows contact wear at 3 and 9 o'clock although naming is still clear. The acorn at the top of the Sebastopol bar is missing. Complete with ribbon and some copied papers.

Waterloo medal - 1st Regiment Dragoon Guards.

Named to William Sarson 1st Reg. Dragoon Guards. The regiment was part of the Union Brigade or Waterloo fame. The regiemtn took the highest casualties of any cavalry regiment in the battle. 40 were killed in action, 100 wounded and 124 missing. A total of 274 out of 530.

Unfortunately the medal has been lovingly polished and worn (see pictures). In good condition this would sell for around £3,000 or more.

Consists of an Egypt medal (bar - Tel-El-Kebir) named to 1639 Pte. M. Medley 2/ York & Lanc : R. and a Khedives Star which is officially stamped 1639 Y&L. In very good condition mounted for wear.

Genuine medal with bars for Punjab Frontier 1897-98, Saman 1897 and Tirah 1897-98. Named to 6642 Gunr. J. Power 11th Fd. B R.A. The medal has a couple of small edge knocks. Comes with copy papers.

Afghanistan & IGS 1895 (3 bar) medals - Captain, Ordnance Dept

The Afghanistan medal is named MAG: Sergt J.J. Bennett, Ordnance department and the IGS is named Captn J.J. Horton-Bennett Ordnancce department. The IGS has 3 bars which are Punjab Frontier 1897-98, Samana 1897 and Tirah 1897-98. Captain Horton-Bennet was MID in India.
