George V Royal Naval Reserve decoration
The group comes with extensive research which shows that Deans was with the Mercantile Marine Dept of the board of trade. In 1910 he was commissioned into the R.N.R. as an assistant Paymaster. Having been mobilised in WWI he spent the war in Newcastle.
In 1924 he was appoited acting consul in New York. In 1931 he was awarded the MBE for this work. He was also
awarded his Reserve decoration in 1930. In WW2 he was again mobilised finally retiring in 1941.
Comes with a mass of copy paperwork.
In good condition court mounted.

Medal is named to 7730 Sjt. T Coleman 95/Coy. M.G.C. Sjt Coleman had an MID for the Somme. His MM citation is superb (se pictures for full details). He was killed in action on the 06/11/1917 at Passchendale. Extracts from the unit war diary are included. Coleman was originally with the Gordon Highlanders and then transfered to the Machine Gun corps.
Comes with a large amount of copied research which shows he was also entitled to a 1914-15 star trio. Medals is in good condition complete with ribbon. Price £550

OBE, WWI & WW2 medal group with two MIDs to a Major - Yorks Regiment and the Royal Engineers.
This group is to a Major Bernard Jessop. He originally served with the 8th Bn. Yorks Regt. On 04/03/1916 he was transferred to the general list for duty on observation posts.
On the 05/10/1916 it would seem this became permanent as he was transferred to the R.E.
