WW1 Military Cross and 1914-15 Medal Trio with MID to a Captain - 7th Bn Seaforth Highlanders - Twice Wounded

British War Medal named Capt. W.T. Henderson
WW1 Victory Medal named Capt. W.T. Henderson
This group comes with a large amount of copy research including war diaries etc.
The MC is gazetted 14/01/1916 and it was awarded for the battle of Loos and in particular the fight at Hohen-Zollern Redoubt where Henderson was forced to take over the battalion due to the enormous number of officer casualties until he himself was wounded (for the second time that year).
Total Casualties for the fight were 58 killed, 342 wounded and 109 missing. 400 killed or wounded in just one short battle.

A great group to an amazing man.
The medals have been lightly lacquered but this is easy to remove.
