Please note the spelling variation on his 1914 star. This mistake is confirmed on his MIC.
London Gazette: 10th November 1916 (M.M.)
Sheppard is listed on the War Office Casualty List as being wounded three times - 12th October 1916, 3rd December 1916 and 5th September 1917.
