The medals are in good condition.
Michael Clarke was born on 6 October 1968 and enlisted at Kettering on 12th January 1986. He served with the 2nd Battalion as a Team Commander and deployed on Covert Operations (COP) with the Close Observation Platoon from 30th March - 1st October 2004. He clearly enjoyed the role as he expressed interest to the Officer Commanding COP to become its Company Quarter-Master Sergeant if the role became available. This was not his first tour during Operation Banner and he also deployed to Kuwait in 1991 - earning a second Clasp to his GSM, a fact confirmed in his Verification Report.
The group comes with Verification Report, Staff Tour Reports and a few copied photographs which identify the recipient. There is also a copy Kuwait clasp which is loose. Both the Northern Ireland and Kuwait clasps that are on the medal are genuine.
