Citation for DCM
For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty from 17th September to 2nd November 1918. He was in charge of the Brigade Sig. Sub-Section in the advance from the Canal du Nord to Presau, south-east of Valenciennes.
The Brigade was constantly on the move, and the maintenance of communication under shell fire was kept up, greatly owing to his fine example and ability.
The medal is good condition with ribbon.
