A scarce second world war POW medal group to 23208130 Trooper Kenneth Aitken, S.A.S. and Royal Artillery.

General Service Medal (Clasp - Malaya) named to 23208130 Tpr. K. Aitken. S.A.S. 
Elizabeth II Territorial Efficiency Medal named to 916007 Bdr. K. Aitken. R.A.

Aitken enlisted on 03/05/1939 and served with 25/48 L.A.A. Regt, Royal Artillery, Far East Command. He was captured in Java on 08/03/1942.

After the war he volunteered for service with the Malayan Scouts (S.A.S.), serving in Malaya. 

The medals are in good condition and are swing mounted for wear. We have not been able to confirm the MID. 

Comes with reproduction Malayan Scouts cloth badge, copies of POW details and copy photographs taken from a book on the SAS,
