‘In recognition of the services of Petty Officers and men of the Eastern Mediterranean Squadron between the time of landing in the Gallipoli Peninsula in April, 1915, and the evacuation in December, 1915 - January, 1916' 


Comes with three original photographs of Robert Walmsley in uniform and some research. His papers state that he was slightly wounded during operations in Dardanelles on 5/7/15.

George VI Territorial Efficiency Medal named to 6089474 Cfn. R.E. Walmsley. R.E.M.E. 

Robert Eric Walmsley served with the 4th Bn Queen's Royal Regiment (63rd Searchlight Regt) from 23/2/39 to 10/4/41. He then transferred to the R.A.O.C. before transferring to the R.E.M.E. on 1/10/42 serving until 7/5/46. 

Comes with original photograph of him in uniform, his dog tags, medal box, entitlement slip, record of service, pay book, release book and bullion R.E.M.E. beret badges. 

The medals are swing mounted for wear.
