Comes with the original citation for the MSM. Someone has previously gone over the original writing to make it clearer.
The citation reads:
No. 8492 Sergeant ERNEST SYDNEY VOICE D Battery, 64th Army Brigade, RFA
'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty and consistantly setting a fine example to his comrades, under the most dangerous and adverse circumstances. Has extinguished burning shell dumps under heavy fire on more than one occasion.'
Comes with copy newspaper cuttings. One of which states that he received a gunshot wound to his nose.
The medals are in good condition.
