Comes with his original Continuous Certificate of Discharge book.
Wilcock was serving as a 3rd Radio Officer on board M.V. Athelempress when she was torpedoed and shelled by German submarine U-162 on 29/04/42. She was sunk and 3 crew were lost from a total of 50.
Wilcock also served on S.S. Empire Opossum (1942), Pencarrow (1942), M.V. Bardistan (1943), Forbin (1943), Sheridan (1944), S.S. Fort Lawrence (1944/45), Greenwich (1945) and S.S. Baron Haig (1946).
The medals are in god condition and are mounted on a card backing for display.
