A Boer war officer's medal pair to Captain (later Major) Ramsay Robert Fielden, Loyal North Lancs Regiment. 

Queen's South Africa Medal (Clasp - Cape Colony) named to Capt. R.R. Fielden. L.N. Lanc. R. 
King's South Africa Medal (Clasps - South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902) named to Capt. R.R. Fielden. L.N. Lanc. Rgt. 

Fielden was born in Lower Bebington, Cheshire on 7th April 1867. He joined the army and was commissioned 09/04/1888. Promoted to 2nd Lieut. 09/05/1888 and then to Lieut. 06/09/1890. In 1893 he completed his officer's musketry course and was promoted to Captain 03/07/1895. On the 16/01/1906 he was promoted to Major and he retired 15/05/1906. 

The medals are in good condition with ribbons.
