WW1 Victory Medal named to 19584 Cpl. F. Beardmore. Manch. R.
Frank Beardmore was born in Retford, Nottinghamshire. He lived in Salford, Manchester and worked at the Manchester Ship Canal. He joined the 21st (Service) Bn. Manchester Regt on 15/12/14 and first entered France on 11/11/15. On the 15/12/16 he was wounded in action and on 21/12/16 he was transferred to Graylingwell War Hospital, Chichester, after receiving a gun shot wound to his right shoulder. He was discharged from hospital 5/5/17 and went back out to France with the K.R.R.C.
The medals are in good condition.
