A lot of three Boer war, Queen’s South Africa (QSA) and King’s South Africa (KSA) medal pairs, awarded to Privates H. G. Goodey, A. Hammond, and A. Mann of the Essex Regiment.

During the action at Belfast on 26th August 1900, Private Goodey was seriously wounded under intense rifle and pompom fire. Demonstrating remarkable bravery, Privates Hammond and Mann—serving as stretcher bearers—rescued him under heavy fire, carrying him 200 yards across open ground to safety. Although no official awards were issued for their actions, their gallantry was formally recommended.

Offering all three medal pairs together, united by this act of battlefield heroism, is exceptionally uncommon.
