Comes with a second world war medal group of five awarded to his son, T279983 Corporal W. Corless, Royal Army Service Corps. The group consists of:

Italy Star unnamed as issued
France & Germany Star unnamed as issued
War Medal 1939-45 (with M.I.D. oak leaf emblem) unnamed as issued
The medals come with entitlement slip but no box of issue or ay other documentation confirming that they were his but the medals came in together so we have kept the together.
Corporal W. Corless was mentioned in despatches (L.G. 11/1/1945) for Italy.
