A second world war prisoner of war medal group of six awarded to 3592484 Private Harold Stanley Horan, Border Regiment and Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Regt).

George VI Territorial Efficiency Medal named to 3592484. Pte. H.S. Horan. Foresters.

Harold Stanley Horan was born in Wirral in 1904. He served with the Border Regt in the 1920s/30s. After settling in Derby he joined the Foresters TA with his old regular army number. He served with them in Norway and North Africa where he was taken prisoner of war in Tunisia.

Comes with copy service papers and research.

The medals are in good condition and are mounted for display.
