A second world war Japanese POW medal group of five awarded to 2977945 Private P.J. Moore, 2nd Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, who was captured at the Fall of Singapore, 15/02/1942.

The IGS medals both have minor edge knock and surface scratches.

Private Moore was captured by the Japanese at the Fall of Singapore, 15th February 1942, and taken prisoner of war. He was liberated 2nd September 1945. 

His medal rolls for both IGS medals and his WW2 medal card state that his medals were forfeited for ignominy. The WW2 medal card also has him down as serving with the RAPC.
