The suspension on the Abyssinia medal has been re-affixed. The medals are in good condition and are mounted for display.

John Morgan was born in Lisburn, Co. Antrim, and attested for the 45th Foot at the town of his birth in July 1859. He was discharged on 19th December 1878, having served 19 years and 153 days with the Colours.
