Claude William Hewison was born on 24th November 1902 in Ryde, Isle of Wight.
He was awarded his LSGC on 17th June 1936 whilst serving on HMS Despatch.
Comes with original Buckingham Palace letter for his BEM and WW2 medal entitlement slip.
