A very rare Army Parachute badge in zinc.
Not maker marked bu of late wartime manufacture by Friesrich Linden of Ludenscheid.
Type B.
Although the army Fallschirmjager had amalgamates with the Luftwaffe early in the war, members of the elite ‘Brandenburg’ Special Forces who qualified as parachutist wore the army badge.
In good condition complete with pin fastening.
