1997 Brilliant Uncirculated coin set from the Royal Mint featuring nine coins, each struck to the Mint’s superior BU standard.

Highlights of the collection include:

  • The debut “Shoulders of Giants” £2 coin.

  • The £1 coin featuring the heraldic Three Lions of England design.

  • Both the large and small 50p coins, issued to mark the transition in size of the denomination.

Alongside these, the definitive coins from the £2 down to the 1p are included, all carrying a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf.

Beautifully presented in an illustrated Royal Mint folder, this limited edition set had a worldwide mintage of just 109,557.
