A first world war trio and 1937 Coronation medal awarded to F.5582 Leading Mechanic Arthur Thomas Bowhill, Royal Naval Air Service and City of London Police.

The medals are in good condition and are swing mounted for wear. 

Arthur Thomas Bowhill was born on 9th July 1892 in Willesden, London. He worked in London Transport from 1907 before briefly joining the the 1st Life Guards in 1911, at which point he was a Railway Porter. He the was re-appointed as a Super. Porter on 23/10/1911 and ended up as a Conductor before resigning in August 1914 to join the City of London Police.

He joined the RNAS on 9th June 1915 “For Hostillities”. His occupation at the time listed as a “Policeman”. 

Listed on the 1937 Coronation roll which states “U.K.6. Cy.L.”
