WW1 1914-15 Star Medal Trio – 2nd Lieut. B.A. Wolfe, South Lancashire Regiment & King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment – 4 x Wounded

A first world war medal trio awarded to 2nd Lieutenant Bernard Anselm Wolfe, South Lancashire Regiment and King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment, who was wounded in action four times.

British War Medal named to 2. Lieut. B.A. Wolfe. 
WW1 Victory Medal named to 2. Lieut. B.A. Wolfe. 

The medals are in good condition. 

Bernard Wolfe first entered France 4/12/1914. He was wounded in action four times whilst serving with the South Lancashire Regiment. First wounded on the Western Font 22/3/1915, then at Gallipoli in October 1915 (GSW Chest), and was wounded twice at Passcchendale in September (GSW Scalp) and October 1917.

He was commissioned into the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment as a 2nd Lieutenant on 30/4/1918.
