1914-15 Star named to 11359 L.Cpl. C. Porter. High: L.I.
British War Medal named to 11359 Pte. C. Porter. High. L.I.
WW1 Victory Medal named to 11359 Pte. C. Porter. High. L.I.
Charles Porter first entered France on 30/11/1914. His MIC and medal roll entry suggests that he died of wounds on 23/10/1916 but there is no record of this on CWGC or Soldiers That Died in the Great War so we believe it is a clerical error. Perhaps they mixed him up with another Charles Porter.
The medals are in good condition with good lengths of original ribbons.
Comes with copy MIC and medal roll entries.
