A first world war mons star and bar trio – 8913 Sergeant Frank Morton, Lancashire Fusiliers.
1914 Mons Star (Clasp – 5th Aug. – 22nd Nov. 1914) named to 8913 Pte. E. Morton. 2/ Lan: Fus.
British War Medal named to 8913 Sjt. F. Morton. Lan. Fus.
WW1 Victory Medal named to 8913 Sjt. F. Morton. Lan. Fus.
Please note there is a mistake with his initial on the star with it having an E instead of an F. This is noted on his medal index card.
Morton served with the 2nd Battalion and 16th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.
The star is polished to the high points. The mons clasp is genuine. Medals are swing mounted on original ribbons.
Comes with copy MIC and medal roll entries.
