A first and second world war LSGC & Bar medal group of nine awarded to K.23309 Chief Petty Officer Stoker Mechanic William John Toms, Royal Navy. 

1914-15 Star named to K.23309, W.J. Toms. Sto. 1., R.N. 
British War Medal named to K.23309 W.J. Toms. Sto.1 R.N. 
WW1 Victory Medal named to K.23309 W.J. Toms. Sto.1. R.N. 
1939-45 Star unnamed as issued 
Atlantic Star unnamed as issued 
WW2 Defence Medal unnamed as issued 
War Medal 1939-45 unnamed as issued 
1953 Elizabeth II Coronation Medal unnamed as issued 
George V Royal Navy Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (with Bar) named to K.23309 W.J. Toms. A/L. Sto. H.M.S. Vivid. 

The WW1 trio and LSGC are heavily polished. The rest are in good condition and all medals are swing mounted for wear. Please see photos. 

Toms was born on 3rd November 1895 in Plymouth, Devon. 

Awarded his LSGC on 5th December 1929 (HMS Vivid) and his bar on 22nd February 1952 (HMS Delhi).
