In ‘The Naval Who’s Who 1917’ it reads:
‘GRANT, Chief Carpenter G.C., was present at the Battle of Jutland, 31st May, 1916; the captain of “Superb” speaks most highly of this officer’s suitability for Carpenter Lieutenant; he has served in “Superb” for the whole war; noted for early promotion (London Gazette, 15th September, 1916).’
The 1914-15 star has remnants of an adhesive pad to the reverse but otherwise the medals are in good condition.
