British War Medal named to 138858 W.J. Criddle. C.P.O. R.N. 
WW1 Victory Medal (with MID oak leaf emblem) named to 138858 W.J. Criddle. C.P.O. R.N. 
Edward VII Royal Navy Long Service & Good Conduct Medal named to 138858 W.J. Criddle, Act. C.P.O., H.M.S. Hebe. 

The medals are in good condition.

For “good services in action at Gallipoli”

William Joseph Criddle was born on 10th April 1870 in Cornwall. He join as a BOy 2nd Class in 1886 and enlisted for 12 years engagement on his 18th birthday. He was awarded his LSGC in 1907 and was pensioned April 1910. 

Recalled to serve in August 1914 and was mentioned in despatches for “good services in action at Gallipoli”. He died of “Enteric (Typhoid) & Pneumonia” on 27/1/1916.
