George Hepworth was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire.

The group comes with a copy of his medical history from enrolment to discharge which shows he received multiple gun shot wounds and shell wounds. He had to have his left leg amputated on 4.11.18 and skin grafts to his right leg after receiving gun shot wounds to both legs. Please see photos.

The medals are in good condition with ribbons.
