Sidney Donald Baker was from Leicester.

He was captured by the Japanese at the Fall of Singapore, 15th February 1942, and taken prisoner of war. Liberated 2nd September 1945. 

The group comes with a number of original documents including his Soldier’s Service and Pay Book and letters he write to his family as a prisoner of war.
