A second world war Japanese POW medal group of four awarded to 5773334 Private Edward Horace George Brunton, 5th Battalion Royal Norfolk Regiment, who was captured at the Fall of Singapore, 15/02/1942.

The medals are late issues, sent out in 1984. The are in good condition and comes with boxes of issue. Also included are his wife’s Defence and War Medal. 

Private Edward Brunton was from Dereham, Norfolk.

He was captured by the Japanese at the Fall of Singapore, 15th February 1942, and taken prisoner of war. He was liberated 2nd September 1945.
