Description

A second world war long service medal group of six awarded to JX.130053 Petty Officer William Harold John Sleigh Emery, Royal Navy. 

1939-45 Star unnamed as issued 
Atlantic Star unnamed as issued 
Africa Star unnamed as issued 
Italy Star unnamed as issued 
War Medal 1939-45 unnamed as issued 
George VI Royal Navy Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (with Bar) named to JX.130053 W.H.J.S. Emery. P.O. H.M.S. Excellent. 

William Emery was born on 19/1/1912 and was from Wandsworth, London. 

His LS&GC and bar are confirmed on the roll – 5/6/1945 and 19/1/1960. 

The LS&GC has very minor wear to the edge but all naming can be read. Overall the medals are in good condition and are swing mounted for wear.
