A first world war Mons POW group to 10882 Private Frederick Hubbard, 2nd Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. 

1914 Mons Star named to 10882 Pte. F. Hubbard. Yorks: L.I. 
British War Medal named to 10882 Pte. F. Hubbard. Yorks. L.I. 
WW1 Victory Medal named to 10882 Pte. F. Hubbard. Yorks. L.I. 

Private Hubbard was from Rotherham. He was despatched to France with first Expeditionary Force and was in the fighting at Mons, where he captured by the Germans and taken prisoner of war. 

The medals are in good condition with original ribbons.
