A rare and interesting MBE awarded to John Trevor for his work with the British Red Cross Society in connection with the evacuation and repatriation of the Hungarians. 

The M.B.E. is in its original box with bestowal letter. Comes with his silver ID bracelet, British Red Cross / Order of St John badge, an Opera medallion, his passport and a number of original letters congratulating him on his achievement. 

All of the items are contained in a carved wooden box with his initials on.
