1914-15 Star named to Capt. & Adjt. E.G. Mackenzie. R. Fus.
British War Medal named to Major E.G. Mackenzie.
WW1 Victory Medal named to Major E.G. Mackenzie.
The Victory medal has an oak leaf MID emblem on the ribbon but we have not been able to confirm that he was mentioned in despatches. This is how the group came in to us. Could do with further research.
The medals are in good condition with ribbons.
Comes with copy MIC showing he ended up a Lt. Col. in the R.A.F. Also comes with a photo of him with the officer's of 17th (Empire) Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.
