A first world war casualty BWM to 4827 Serjeant Walter Kenneth Nicol, 18th Battalion, London Regt (London Irish Rifles). 

British War Medal named to 4827 Sjt. W.K. Nicol. 18-Lond. R. 

Killed In Action - 15th September 1916 (London Cemetery and Extension, Longueval) 

Nicol was originally from Durban, Natal in South Africa. 

He was killed during the capture of High Wood. 

The medal is in good condition with ribbon. 

Comes with copy MIC, medal roll entry and casualty details.
