The medals come in original box of issue with condolence slip as well as three silver plated C.I.C.C. (? cycling) trophies awarded to A. Cusa in 1939. 

Arthur Cusa served on French ship Branlebas which was part of the Free French Navy under General de Gaulle. It was manned by a mixed French and British crew. She was a Motor Torpedo boat acting as an escort to a convoy when she was sunk due to bad weather. All of the crew barring three sailors were lost (approximately 90 men).
