Died of Wounds - 14th March 1918 (Achiet-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension)
Born in Ordsall, Nottinghamshire and elisted in Retford, Nottinghamshire.
Rossington was first wounded in action in 1915 with a gun shot wound to his right leg whilst serving with the 8th Bn. He clearly recovered from this but was then wounded again in 1918 and subsequently died.
Comes with original box of issue for the BWM & VM medals and transittal document for the 1914-15 star.
The medals are in good condition with good lengths of clean original ribbons.
