A first world war prisoner of war medal group awarded to 54836 Private Ben Frederick Morris, Royal Fusiliers.
1914-15 Star named to G-54836 Pte. B.F. Morris. R. Fus:
British War Medal named to PS-6603 Pte. B.F. Morris. R. Fus.
WW1 Victory Medal named to PS-6603 Pte. B.F. Morris. R. Fus.
Private Morris was captured at Jussy on 23rd March 1918 and taken prisoner of war. He later died of disease on the 20th November 1918, presumably soon after he was released.
The medals are in good condition.
