A Waterloo medal to Private Martin Champion, 10th Royal Hussars. 

Waterloo Medal 1815 named to Martin Champion, 10th Royal Reg. Hussars (Correctly impressed) 

The medal is in fairly good condition with a couple of minor edge knocks. Replacement straight bar suspender. 

Champion also received the Military General Service Medal but this is in the 'Great Hall Collection' at the Chelsea Hospital.

On the MGS medal roll it states that he was sentenced to 300 lashes and received 240. Pensioned 16/6/1824. 

Served in Capt. H.C. Stapyton's No. 3 Troop at Waterloo.
