A first world war TEM group of four awarded to 1691 / 200192 Private Frederick Arthur Hand, 1st/4th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry.
1914-15 Star named to 1691 Pte. F.A. Hand, Som. L.I.
British War Medal named to 1691 Pte. F.A. Hand. Som. L.I.
WW1 Victory Medal named to 1691 Pte. F.A. Hand. Som. L.I.

The medals are in good condition and are swing mounted for wear.
Frederick Hand landed in Hafiz on 29th August 1915 and served throughout the war in Mesopotamia.
Upon discharge, he joined the Birmingham City Police as a Constable on 26th May 1919. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1934 and retired as Dock Sergeant at Victoria Court, Birmingham in December 1945.
