A first world war casualty medal group awarded to 16491 Sergeant Lionel Lawley, 9th Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, who was sadly killed in action on 16/9/1916 and is remembered at A.I.F. Burial Ground, Flers.

Killed in Action - 16th September 1916 

Lionel Lawley lived in South Kirkby, Nr Wakefield and enlisted at Doncaster. 

The medals are in good condition.
